CONTINUING OUR SCIENTIFIC JOURNEY

This article systematically reviews important clinical studies in the field of minimally invasive treatment for lower extremity venous diseases in recent years, with a focus on analyzing the long-term efficacy and safety of techniques such as endovenous laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation, and sclerotherapy.

Results from multicenter cohorts suggest that endovenous thermal ablation achieves durable closure rates with low complication rates, while non-thermal techniques continue to expand the treatment spectrum for patients with challenging anatomy. Long-term follow-up remains essential for evaluating recurrence and patient-reported outcomes.
